Delivery of the website

Cloudflare delivers this website and protects it against attacks. For each request, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP address, time of access, requested address and browser information. Processing can take place outside Switzerland, including in the United States.

Visit statistics

The website counts page views on its own server, without cookies and without storing IP addresses. For each view it records the date, the page, the country derived from the IP address, the type of device and, if present, the domain of the referring website and the campaign named in the address of the page. To count visitors per day it stores a one-way hash of the IP address and browser identification combined with a random value that changes every day. The random value is deleted within a few hours after the day ends, so the statistics do not link visits from one day to the next; backups of the database are kept for up to 30 days. Requests for the machine-readable versions of the website, such as llms.txt or the Markdown pages, are counted per file only. The statistics are stored in Cloudflare's database in the EU and kept for 13 months.

Cookies and tracking

HWH Capital Partners sets no cookies and uses no advertising services on this website. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and loading times without cookies; its script loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and processes technical data such as the visited page, the referring page and browser information. Cloudflare can set technically necessary security cookies to tell people from automated traffic. Fonts are served from this website; no requests go to font providers.

Security check

The general contact address of HWH Capital Partners appears only after a check by Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects it against automated collection; the pre-registration form can only be sent after the same check. Turnstile loads when the e-mail dialog is opened or the form is used, and processes technical data such as IP address and browser characteristics.

Pre-registration form

The pre-registration form is loaded from the contact management of HWH Capital Partners at app.hwh-partners.com, which also runs on Cloudflare; when a page with the form opens (investor relations, or the start page while it shows only the pre-registration), the browser requests the form there and transmits technical data such as IP address and browser information. Details entered in the form go to the same place. With each submission, the time, the country derived from the IP address, the browser identification, the page address and a one-way hash of the IP address are stored to prevent misuse.

Booking a call

Introduction calls are booked with Cal.com, a scheduling service of Cal.com, Inc., United States. Its booking calendar loads from app.cal.com only when a Book a call button or link is selected or after the pre-registration form has been sent; the browser then transmits technical data such as IP address and browser information to Cal.com, together with any parameters in the address of the page. Cal.com can set cookies that the booking needs. The calendar also sends performance data, such as loading times, to Sentry, a monitoring service of Functional Software, Inc., United States, used by Cal.com; IP address and browser information reach Sentry with this request. The name, e-mail address and notes entered in the calendar, and the e-mail addresses of any guests added, go to Cal.com together with the chosen time, and from there to HWH Capital Partners, which uses them to arrange the call. The call takes place as a video call on Zoom, a service of Zoom Video Communications, Inc., United States, which processes the data of the call, such as names, sound, image and technical data of the participants. Cal.com, Sentry and Zoom can process the data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States.

Research papers

Working papers open from share.hwh-partners.com, the file storage of HWH Capital Partners, which also runs on Cloudflare. When a paper is opened, the browser transmits technical data such as IP address and browser information there. For each opening, the time, the country derived from the IP address, the browser identification and a one-way hash of the IP address are stored to count views and prevent misuse.

Use of requests

HWH Capital Partners uses the content of the form, of e-mails and of calls to answer requests and to manage any business relationship that follows.

Press list

HWH Capital Partners sends its press releases by e-mail to newsrooms. The addresses come from the contact pages that the media publish for news and press releases, and are used only to send press releases. The e-mails go out through Resend, a service of Resend, Inc., United States, which processes the address and the content of each e-mail for this purpose. Every e-mail contains a link to unsubscribe; an address that has unsubscribed stays on a block list, so that it receives no further press releases. A record of each e-mail sent (address, date and text) is kept for 24 months. Anyone on the list can object at any time, with the link in the e-mail or by e-mail to the address in the imprint.

Rights

Data subjects can request access to, correction of and deletion of their personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Requests go to the address above.
